Favorite Character Meme: Primeval (asked by iridania) I went with Emily Merchant. Now it seems rather obvious, since I RP’d as her. But yeah, I love Becker, and Matt has grown on me quite a bit. But Emily is a Victorian lady transported to the past. She’s resourceful, awesome, loyal, and warm. She looks just as good in Matt’s shirts (or better, even) as she does in the dresses from her time. And I love her hair.

shesailsships: #I love how Emily wears Matt’s clothes- there’s something so intimate about it. #she tries to make excuses but she has plenty of chances later on to get other clothes and yet still- she walks around wearing his stuff… #I don’t blame her of course- his shirts are probably soft and smell like him:D #And Matt appreciates the viewXD IKR. I was just rewatching this scene and, just…guh. There are just so many little things that turn out to be not-so-little-things. I mean, she could have just put on her old clothes, like she did at the hospital, or just put on his shirt maybe. But she opts for his shirt and pants. I mean, honestly, she probably excused it by reasoning that she needed modern clothes to blend in as she was planning to sneak out to look for Ethan anyway… But yeah. As we see, two episodes later, she’s still wearing his shirts.And DO NOT get me started on the “I prefer tea” thing.
